the moon looks down on me and lets out a sigh..
like a doomed mortal wandering the twilight..
my thoughts as disturbing as the darkness that surrounds me..
unearthing the years that had gone, and tomorrow's delight..
the blanket spreads on my immobile figure..
as the pillow cradles my restless head..
rekindling thoughts on how bitter life is..
thoughts on the present, the future, and death..
asking questions that are already answered..
uncertain of things that are certain..
wanting things i already have..
doubt and confusion consumed me once again..
i look at the stars, which shared my perplexity..
i haven't gone into dreaming yet, and they ask why..
